With a cellular unit, your cell phone company needs to provide you with a SIM card. You probably wonder how it works?
Well, the Field Water Alarm® consists of a detection probe that is placed in any row check or border that is the flood irrigation water position or "set point". This is where the water makes contact with the probe, then sends an alert through the 15ft. (sometimes longer) signal cord to the field control unit, which is a self contained watertight case.
By using the keypad, the cellular unit is easily programmed by sequentially entering up to 3 numbers to send its caller ID and up to 3 numbers with its text message "Alarm On". The numbers entered can be to the same phone or different ones.
